Yes ! There will be drag racing at this event ! There will be front motored fuelers , Ol school funnies and the wacky fuel altereds, "Rat Trap", "Bradford's Crank" and "The Winged Express" for sure. It's all part of the NHRA's heritage series to support the museum.

While you are at it come by the Back Yard Guys pit as well. I am driving Art's car this year and Frank Ousley is tuning so if I can get the job done at the wheel it might be good.

Do what the Texas feller says , but wear your ear muffs when that MEL motor lites off on fuel, it had the hemi guys running for cover at bako a few years ago!

Tacson, if this event follows what happens at Famoso for the CHRR, there will be both.

The car show portion is very nice, very heavy on traditional hot rods and race cars.

The swap is pretty good sized.

If you decide to come, you'll be back next year.

We're set up in the campground in the corner closest to fence and river right across the fence from the ca show. Look for the yellow impala. Stop in and say hi!

lots a really nice cars in the car show, missing about a 1/3 of what was here last yr but just ment we got more runs in! the swap meet is pretty big lots of great stuff but no one wants to sell anything. saw a pair of bucket seats for a mid sixties chevy in so so shape 600 bucks! another set about the same shape for 400 bucks just seemed like everything was at least twice what it was worth and they weren't coming off it. but that's their deal i came with money to by stuff to finish my '38 international but i'll wait! weather's not too bad....about 9pm! having a great time as usual though. broke my throttle pedal mount shifting into 2nd on my second pass but have it fixed now and ready for in the morning!
