I'm too far away to help but any idea of what rear end he has under the truck? And what the problem is in case a wheel bearing or replacement drop out third member will fix it?

  4. Good idea.

I could throw a loaner 31 spline 9" on a bus if it is necessary.

I should ad that I can probably come up with a loaner 28 spline as well.

Bump for any Cheyenne people that can help, I made a call to a Cheyenne friend and helped pass the word if anyone is available. Just talked to the guy, getting some gear oil pumped into the rear end so hoping all will be okay. Good luck!

I called and left a v/m msg for your buddy with a couple of phone numbers. One HAMB guy in Rock Springs and anther one in Longmont, CO. Not exactly where he is but they might have friends in Cheyenne that can help. Those are the closest HAMB guys that I know that I've got numbers for.

I'm not in a position to help unfortunately, but I just wanted to say:

For the uninitiated, THIS is a BIG part of what the H.A.M.B. is all about!
