Hi I'm Mike Attewell from Newquay I've owned and built may Vw's over the years and i've now decided to scratch A long term itch i've had for a Ford F1 Here's a few of my VW's past 54 Rag 55 RHD Karmann Kabriolet 59 DC 58 Lowlight Karmann Ghia 55 Oval Rag And here's the 51 Ford F1 that I resently purchased off Ebay If all goes to plan i'm hoping to get the F1 on the road in time for the UK Hayride but we shall see I will start a thread on the truck as i'm sure to need to ask you lot a good few questions along the way! Welcome to the H.A.M.B.! From another Tennessean. I'm a fairly new member here too and found lots of great info and advice. I was in your fair town back in 09. (for the Americans, it's pronounced noo-kee not noo-kway - I learned that from Ground Force TV show) We spent 3 weeks touring England, Wales, Scotland and Ireland. Would you happen to know this guy? I think this was Newquay. There is/was a "Cars of the Stars" museum just up (literally up) the road from where these were taken. Did he get done without getting squashed? Nice run of V-dubs you had/have there. I especially like the Karmann Ghias. Good luck on the F1.
No I don't know that guy, I've only lived in Newquay for a couple of years I'm pretty sure he must be known though
I love your previous VW, especially the Kabriolet (I would have to had a new roof thou) and low light ghia
