    'Preciate all the great info on the site, decided to join. Newbie to the board and to car restoration. Just jumped in with a '37 Chevy Master 4 dr. Trying my hand at a new hobby and loving it so far.

    This was how I found her...


    Probably going to try to keep 'er mostly original. Might do new gauges in a vintage style. Thinking of a cream or two tone copper / cream paint job someday down the road.
    Needs new interior, came with two engines (both stuck) and two transmissions. Anybody know a good engine rebuilder / machine shop around N. Dallas, just in case I need one?

    Welcome from New York. The 37 Chevy is a great choice and a car with lots of style. I have built several of them over the years. Have fun with your build.

    The more I see on what people can do out there, the more fired up I get.

    Nutz - I got the car from Tulsa. right near the Hardrock hotel is where the seller lived. Nice guy, didn't want to see her go, but I promised to take good care of her...

    Well, it's been nearly a year, and we're making progress. Starting to think about rebuilding the engine for this Spring's project. Did a little painting over the summer / fall...
