Looking real good! Any reason why you didn't go with more 1960's looking valve covers?

 

the ones we used in 1968 leak so bad i did not want to use them.this is a picture of the 1968 car.

 

They sure did have a lot of faith in the strength of those rafters, didn't they ?????
