The Un-Billeting of the 46 ford coupe

    So I have been in the process od de-billeting of my newley aquired 46 ford. So far new valve covers, got rid of the ugly mirrors and pinstripe, new steering wheel, and some wide whites and smoothies! before and after pics...

    Finned breather to match and some chrome swan mirrors and I'd call it done!!! Looks awesome!!!!

    The colour lends itself to the chrome wheels, good to see it wasn't totally destroyed before you saved it.

    I like what you did. It was a decent looking car before, in my eyes. At least the previous owner had some taste, because the paint color is very nice.

    But you carefully weeded out the bits that didn't quite fit, and now it's a real looker!

    There's a pretty strong movement of people giving street rods more of a traditional flare and we are all better for it. Nice choice of changes.

    Awesome vision there. I think a lot of us wouldnt have looked at the car the way it was and seen what you saw.

    I couldnt encourage you to change the air cleaner too could I?
