I have electric fans in my house? Mechanical fans on my engines.

Sorry. Some of my cars are mechanical. Some are electric. The ones with a/c have both.

Both. But if I had to choose one or the other, and had room, I'd go mechanical. How many Camaros have you seen with cracked heads because the fans quit and someone wasn't watching the gauge?

I prefer mechanical they are clean and simple . Electrical cools better and fits in tight spots

You will never get anything to this question except the conclusion that some people love mechanical ones and some love electric ones. Every time it comes up (and it comes up A LOT) there is never a clear cut winner. So the best thing to do is simply run what you like and don't worry about what the other guy thinks or runs.
