Customs chopping my 55 mercury monterey, any suggestions?

    Plan your cuts and think it through. That rap around glass can screw you if ya do something wrong. Try and think a few steps ahead.

    Years ago, seen pictures of one out of Sweden, Would've liked to see it up close. I think it was a lime-gold color.

    It is easy to chop the top on a Monterey, just get a top from a Montclair.

    I've got a 56 2dr sedan thats chopped 4". I can get you all the pics I have of the top if your interested.

    i actually have both cars! i just like the rear glass and trim on the monterey better

    nice job, were u able to get the c-piller trim to fit? did u chop the back glass?, Id love to see the pics! by the way haters ppg makes the glass!

    What for? IMO a chop does nothing to improve this car's looks. Just because you can doesn't always mean it's a great idea.

    idk what your talking about, i think it improves the lines, and charicter of the car...and its mine so i do whatever i want, thanks though

    The back glass cannot be cut its tempered, you will need to find a front glass to use in the back if you want to cut it.

    trying to figure out what KAGE did above, and couldent tell if the back glass had been altered at all
