Today was the All Ford show held at Bellevue CC. they allow non fords but only a few usually attend. Here is a link to all my pictures http://public.fotki.com/Boones/car_shows/all-ford-show-1/ Below are a few rides that stood out. First was a custom T bird built by Bill Cushenberry for a Radio Station Promo. It was a give away car. this rail used to run out of So. Cal. I was digging the front schwinn bicycle rims and tires. Hemi powered coupe
Bummed i missed this. I saw that cream colored truck at griots. Pretty cool. And 3 topless 35/36's!!! Dang.
BQQNES, Thanks so much for the wonderful pictures, from yesterday's Early Ford Picnic. The Puget Sound has some really nice cars and builders to be proud of. I drove my old Crusty Cruiser #2 to the event and was well received. You even took a picture of it. Next time stop in and introduce yourself. Gary Estes -Issaquah "one crusty one"
ford only shows, ford only races ,ford only swap meets. you guys are like the naacp. if the chevys win dont let em in
It's an open show, any car can come. It's put on by The Early Ford V-8 Club of Puget Sound. You probably wouldn't like it because there is NO trophy presentation. But there's a designated parking area for early Fords only.
The Black one is owned by one of the old time members of the club. It's just the tip of his iceberg. And the green one?...sure wouldn't mind owning that.
I used to go to this show all the time around twenty years ago. It used to fill up about five of those parking areas. My dad was there with his Buick Special, and I decided to swing in for a little bit. It seemed like attendance was pretty low?? Was it the weather? Or has it died off a little bit. I must say what was lacking in quantity was replaced by quality!!!!
Unfortunately weather plays a major role in our lives. I wore three layers to stay warm on Sunday at the Ford Show. Friends stayed home because of the forecast, and I'm sure it played a huge part in the low attendance. I agree, the quality of the cars in attendance was awesome.
