55 Nomad. One of my all time favorites since Ford and Chrysler never had the balls to make something this cool.
I would restore the chassis and underneath, and do the mechanicals and drive it as is for a couple of years juct because it looks so solid! Nice car!!
Gonmad, I love your '58. I walked around it in some mall parking lot in Springfield one day. (look but don't touch) Thats a great looking car with some awesome patina.
Did I post progress of mine? D/A sander, angle sander, sandpaper in hand and some Krylon. Simplicity at it's finest.
I have a question for you longroof guys. I found a '55 wagon with no motor or trans and also missing a rear bumper for $4K. The body is straight, no rot, floor solid, all there...needs new interior. I'm thinking about taking a closer look at it...is this a good price?
Thanks! I'm sure Chic was there with the kids spending money! LOL! Actually, she drives it more than I do, heck she'll drive it before the escalade if its decent weather! That is with exception of long trips like the 3 power tours and various car events/shows across the country of course, then I'm driving!
some people are gonna get sick with this one but what ever hahaha 55 nomad been chopped NASTY big block in it enjoy
