I have a roadster and the only time I hate is at a stoplight. Otherwise, it's okay. I'm in Houston, TX.

Sure do, but my '63 Grand Prix came with factory a/c and I just added a/c to my '52 Chevy Coupe.

driving my 55 thru yuma last summer, the steering wheel was too hot to hold onto. It was about 115 out

  6. Yes, it's traditional. After all, our old cars have vent windows and cowl vents.

  9. Ha Fred, I forgot how hot Southeast Missouri gets until I took mine back home there two years ago. I couldn't stand to drive it in the heat of the day that's for sure !

  10. Made sure i had a good heater core in mine. I don't know how you guys deal with that heat. I'm not sure if i could ever get used to that.

It was in the 90s today in Houston, I still love to drive it but the long stop lights or the occasional traffic jam take some of the fun out of it.

"It ain't the heat, it's the humidity". None of my vehicles have working a/c. BUT, I still drive my coupe in the blistering heat. Some a-hole in the past filled in the cowl vent, gonna remedy that real soon! peace

I love the heat. I have a OT 67 stang with a/c can get 85-100 with 90% humidity and the a/c does not come on unless the Mrs Fire_Hazard is along.

Here in Phoenix 90 degrees is a "cold spell" this time of year, broke a new record today with 111 and speaking of Yuma,Az record 114 today. And yes,my '54 has A/C and an "evil" electric fan.
