Sins Of Steel Saturday June 2nd 2012

Big cruz night going on in Ferndale tomorrow evening if you get to town in time. Woodward and 9 Mile area. A group of us are heading there. I'll be in the wagon.

If you go to The Henry Ford on Friday AM you'll see quite a few Road Devils and a few of my Power Tour buds.

 

Weather man says rain all day Friday, Friday night, and into Saturday morning...

 

Don't be scared by those little weather icons. They will often put a thunder cloud up even when there is only 20% chance of dampness, which makes no sense to me if there is 80% chance of sun!

Sins of Steel runs rain or shine, folks.

Just checked the weather 71 partly sunny / cloudy depending on how you look at it. Keep your fingers crossed and the rain ex close. Randy you are shunned for mentioning rain !!!!! ha-ha you coming Saturday?

 

Well, they changed their forecast again, and this morning, they say it will be mostly dry with a possible shower in the afternoon! I swear, it must be nice to have a job where you can just guess at something, be right only 50% of the time, and still get a paycheck at the end of the week!!

Yeah Matt, I'll be there set up in the swap meet, in my usual place!

YES - exactly - I HATE the fact that so many people today just look at the little icons on their phones and pay no attention to the % chance of rain. Last year at our show we had 70% chance of rain and storms - we got ZERO! This year people all week were saying it was gonna rain.........
bottom line - make the commitment - GO!
Perfect example was Meltdown Drags last year.
It rained ALL morning - but all the hardcore racers had already committed to be there and they were......
and guess what - by 1:00 pm we were getting the tech inspection started!
Totally amazing day and it was because so many people had decided they were gonna show up rain or shine!
GO to the show - it is a fun event!

You boys & girls have fun.... Sun, Sand, and Salt Water overruled our trip this year. I'm sure the party will go on without us.

 

Took pictures of the car for Hagerty yesterday. The should have proof of insurance by lunch time today. Getting in line at Sec of State. Maybe I will have tags today! If I don't get tags it will go on a stretcher to Davisburg and drive the rest! I WILL DRIVE THROUGH THE GATES. See you tomorrow!

do people NOT understand that this means it MIGHT rain?
If I know that there is a 60% chance of something - I will take it. And in case you did not see - there is a 60% chance of NO RAIN tomorrrow.

I was at the Sins of Steel last year and to my knowledge they have not turned this into a goldchainer event.

No matter what the show is...........
go out and support it.

Even if it is a Good Guys or NSRA event - be there and have a good time - that is what this thing is all about!!!!
