I have. '39 Tudor with a Flathead. I am wanting to putmin a t-5 5 speed. Has anyone done this? I have done a search and found nothing. What is needed? My main concern is how it ill fit/mount in the frame.

    Thanks for the help!

I installed a T-5 in a '38 Tudor 4 years ago using Cornhuskers components. Had to split the wishbones (I used a Pete & Jake's part). Used a T-5 from an '89 S-10 for the shifter location. I also changed the banjo to an open drive line configuration and installed 3.25 gears. The car will run all day long at 70 with no strain.
There are lots of threads on the HAMB regarding the T-5 and associated parts. Good luck!

  3. try Flatearnie's thread on T-5 tech section of the HAMB.All of your questions will be answered caution:it's a very long thread.
