How do these things handle? My girlfriend really want's one. Only problem is we have a place 13 miles up a very windy mountain road, and she will drive this thing like she stole it. I don't want her going off the side, I've seen it happen too many times on that road. How do they take curves?
Mine drives like a go-kart. But it's not really what many call a bucket. Mine has almost 50/50 weight balance. Being a short wheelbase car.
Anywhere from lousy to great. Depends on the design and execution. Two ft wide rear tires, bicycle wheels in the front, and blown big block, probably not so great. Track style T with moderate power, proper tire sizes, well done suspension, could handle well. Mine is in the latter category and I think it handles very well. Bob

Gaspumper I've been in love with your car since I first I saw it. I just dont know if it meets the budget. I let one get away on CL and I'm still getting chewed out over it
Had one for 3 years, Total per. chassis coil overs, SBC, Road like go kart, handled OK Wife drove it all the time and did well on winding country gravel black top roads, I am sure when I was not around She drove it like she stole it.
