Had a Blast! The Heat must have really got to the Judges, i received a Top 12 Traditional pick with the Truck! Smiled all the way home! It was Hot for sure, but the Fun i had with the freaks from Louisville was Priceless! Cant wait to do it again!!!

 

You would have gotten the Poorboys Pick trophy but it never would have fit in your truck - haha.



Had a great time, didn't mind the heat (although it WAS hot as balls) Scott and Shawn do a great job with this show, gets better every year.

Several of the Poorboys cruised up from the Nashville area - here we are at our first gas stop.



Once we got to Poorboy Pete's place (Hamber Dr. Fishstein) Mike (EarlSchieb) didn't waste any time. Pete and Holly put on a great feed, there was plenty of beer and BBQ and I brought plenty of 'party liquor' for the more refined drinkers.

Haha - just found this on the web - my accelerator cable broke right as we were pulling out Sunday morning for the show. I tried to re-attach the end to no avail and ended up driving to the show with vice grips holding the cable end to the pedal arm -

Thanks for all the pics! Beatersville gets better and better every year. I'm the singer/guitar player in the first band to play, 3GC.
This is always our favorite show to play! There's nothing better than playing music AND getting to look at the best collection of old rods in KY. Like someone said before; Beatersville is WAY better than the Street Rod Nationals.

They hit at least 500 some cars I believe. I heard one of the top pics was #5xx something.

 

I see my poor ol Plymouth hiding in the corner...

 

You guys in the smaller cities are so lucky, you get to hold events in the streets and parking lots of your towns. In Cali anything that big would have had to be at some big venue....you just don't get the same feeling....great pics
