Great car and story. Glad to see it got to another loving owner. On a similar note, I was driving through Mountain View Mo a couple of weeks ago. A route I have traveled hundreds of times over the years. Well as I'm driving I see an old garage with the door open. Being a car guy I take notice and as I drive by, there is the grill of a 32 Ford poking out. I couldn't tell what it was exactly but it was a 32 grill for sure. I'll be keeping an eye out for that one every time I pass now.
I see an easy top chop. Crosscut saw, carpenter's glue, ---well, maybe not. That thing is perfect! Bob
the cool factor lies with the fact that it is the way it is. wow. What a great find. You have something very special
i wouldn't do a damn thing to it.. some of them ought survive in original condition.. it's the rodder's job to give life to the ones that age or neglect or mother nature dragged down.. we make zombies.. beautiful zombies.
WOW! You have found a very rare car. It's a 1932 Ford Station Wagon Body Type 150. I hope you're sitting down when I tell you only 334 of those were produced. Amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if it's one of the very last in existence.
You couldn't ask for a better tow car for the T speedster! What a great find, hope to see it at a local meet. Bob
Watch me get shot... That is the coolest 32 Barn find I have seen on here this year, and we've had a few. Incredible car. Your father is luckier than a sailor in Bangkok.
Congrats Cris and Dad. You're dad must be a smooth talker, I never would have given that car up. Gorgeous car, amazing find.
We need more photos....lots and lots of them. Seriously man, that thing is just amazing. It's just crying out for a "sympathetic restoration" and it looks like that's where your dad is headed with it. That's the hotrod equivalent of opening an undisturbed Egyptian tomb.
Thinkin' like that would be perfect in a movie that takes place in the thirties. Hard to find vintage cars that look the part. I mean not restored and not to far gone. That one perfect. Hope it is enjoyed.
very true....I've always thought it unrealistic when they make a period film and every car is a 100 point Model A, etc. That woody could've stepped right out of 1941.
