Can't you just register it in a different state? Surely you can have an address elsewhere ? Victoria perhaps?

Anyway I always thought Offy heads , twin carbs and lowered suspension were dealer options in California !!! :D:D:D

For all the E-Bay naysayers..proof there are indeed fair, honest and legitimate people conducting transactions.

What is wrong with you Australians???????

Seriuosly, every cool car that goes into Aussie gets converted to RHD.....
Cant you guys drive or something????

When a car like that comes into NZ, only an Aussie expatriot ever considers converting it!!!! And it would devalue the car!!!

For Gods sake just leave it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  21. Thats it HRD you have to convert it to rhd just to shit a kiwi ..LOL. Lovely car I prefer a 39 to a 40 .

    Good job Captain!!! Ha Ha.

  23. Really? We have to convert them? Damn, why didn't anyone tell me that 12 years ago?!:D In actual fact, converted cars over here are generally valued (actual $$$, not sentiment) higher.

HRD: when did the rules change in SA? Every time I've been over there I've been amazed how many LHD cars there are. Is it because the car's modified?

What I'd like to know is why we can't just do a survey of all the countries in the world as to which side of the road they drive on.

Then agree that the rest of the world will conform and drive on the same side of the road as everyone else. :)

That would be a whole lot simpler.

  27. Put the steering in the middle...to make everyone happy.....bags, 350, 5" chop, billet wheeled Easter egg.

  28. I spoze leaving it is an option. I really just want to leave it in the shed and look at it as that is all I could do if it stayed L/H/D. Modified L/H/D cars are NOT allowed to be driven in S.A. Roads - simple as that. What's the &@/?&; big deal anyway? as Pedro said, it' s worth more converted and another thing, I'm Australian and ?@&$;? Use to driving on the left of the road and I like it that way! H.R.D. Let's get off the subject of left verses right - geeezzz!

In Queensland as long as it is over 30 years old it can stay LHD.
