I finally found the ID number on my Model A Frame that sits under my '26 Model T Coupester build.
When I look at the only chart I found on the search here, as sell as Google...it appears too high for the chart.
I realize I may have read it wrong, and can recheck (although it took almost a hour to jack the body up to move the frame ahead for a good look )
The number as I read it is *4873844*....
I could be wrong on the 7, but it sure looked like it to me..
    Any help ??
    Thanks,
    Bob

I believe the first digit is A instead of 4, Then it makes sense.

  4. Bob,

I agree with this. Please double check. Your number is after March 1932 and they didn't make too many cars, (see http://mafca.com/data_eng_production.html).

January 1929. The initial position, after the star, is an A, not a 4.

    THANK YOU ALL !! :D
    Damn, I love this forum..
I did have trouble reading the A, and makes sense that it is a 1929!
    Cheers,
    Bob
