alright go easy on me...i haven't been striping very long but I want to contribute. Not the best but I'm tryin to figure it out

What's the rules for the art show anyways? Does it have to be hot rod related or is it kind of anything goes?

 

I'm jumping in and joining the rumble. First up is an acrylic painting titled "4 Ghouls in Search of a Gig". It's one of a series of Rockabilly Zombie Rod paintings I've been working on. I had the original on display at this years Viva Las Vegas.

I painted this wall last night for an oldtime photo studio that is opening up today in Galveston, Tx. The construction crew had already built the "stucco" wall and the Whippet car. I just painted the spark plug sign and faux finished the wall to make it look old and cracked.

 

Good Gawd! that is the neatest piece of aluminum that I have ever seen. NICE WORK!

Here is another drawing that I recently did. It was drawn with map pencils. I ended up having to cut and paste the drawing together by hand because I don't use fancy computer machines to draw. I drew this for a T shirt design for an antique fire truck club. My lettering sucks, but I was OK with the drawing. Luckily, when they printed it on shirts they cleaned up my lettering a bit with a computer.

Here's a new shirt I whipped up to take to the Jalopy Showdown last weekend. From the start of me drawing it to having it in hand printed by Oddrodgarage at YOUR LOGOWEAR was about 30hrs.

As usual shirts are 100% MADE IN AMERICA from the cotton, garment making and screen printing.

TGIF!!! Great stuff in here once again. Here's an older one from me...

 

ALSO!!! Mel, DirtiestDevil here on the HAMB made this for the Sugar City booth. It's 7 feet by 5 feet and it hand painted and wet sanded to perfection on an old heavy duty Canvas. Looks like it was pulled out of a stash from 70 years ago!!!! There's really no words to say how grateful I am to have him do this and I was blown away when he brought it to the showdown.

If anybody needs prop work or bannersdone give him a PM. He's an awesome dude and pours his heart and soul into anything he touches.

That is gnarly! Dig that you're doing American Made shirts too! Love seeing more guys doing this. Mine are as well; Max went this direction recently too and the response has been great.
