They sure cleaned up nicely. And great pipe-frame bench. I could use something like that. Good job.

  10. I have an old Craftsman base from a radial arm saw that was under a parts washer, til it spilt a seam. Noticing the pegboard sides I thought it would be great to hang the grinders from. Then the idea of it being able roll out of the way when not in use came in to play. This is what I have after a couple hours of screwing around.

Next, it will get a wood top, bench vise and the belt/disc sander.

That'll be handy Todd. Speaking of vice mounts, This is what I did with mine. The top pivots and the vice swivels so I can use it for welding and grinding.

Saw this at a metal shaping meet last weekend. Stopped at HF on the way home. Built this one yesterday. It clamps to a flat surface. Works like a charm.

Todd - Was that an electric foot switch?

No limits - Do you have a pic of the ends showing your adjustments?

SLIP roll to go onto the end of a beadroller. A adapter plate to bolt onto the lower part of frame, the upper roll descends down into it.

Rework, I am going to drill closer axle holes in it, build some steel rolls for small rod and flat rolls for flat stock. THE top axle now needs to adjust on both ends to be level while at rolling point. (meaning now I get to grind some powder coat off and weld another adjustor)

THOSE skateboard wheels are for a "Lazze" inspired project, rolling stainless trim spears here for a toy. I tried them on this, but don't think they are staying, think steel rollers are better for this app.

Good point? it goes on and off quickly.

I think I got this idea from metalmeet or Cass Nowrocki book. Easy to add to my E wheel and works a treat.

If you are cutting sheet metal, take the time to build one of these. You won't be sorry!
