I just came across a bunch of "Street Rodder" magazines from the '70's in my little collection. Earliest being a '72. I need to look around for a decent scanner to buy for myself so I can put them up on here rather than heading to school to use the ones there.

Rocky that is one strange looking maple leaf. :D

A lot of those cars would have been considered throw back, like my '46 was in the '70s. Not stylish by the standards of the day and certainly not to be considered a muschl car but still accepted by the masses as one bad mutha truckin ride.

Those are sweet rides for damned sure and proof that the '70s was not all big meats and high up in the rear.

well I wasnt driving or owner of a car in the 70's,, but I do remember many shows and seeing the cars of that era. I was already into it at that age..and just a few years away from driving. hey im from the motor city.

some of the 70's spilled over into the early 80's

at least from where im from.
I remember buddies having jacked up air shocked rides, "wide oval" bias ply tires ..aluminum slots..etc..

my O/T charger is a throw back to that era..its how I got it when I bought it, and it still wears the same tires and wheels of that era
