had a buddy finish the airride it was bagged when i got it but it didnt have anything no tank, compressors,controls,valves..ect, also had to plumb and wire it up luckily my buddy came through and knocked it out in a few days so i could get it to the shop to have it ready in time for roundup.
then the body i just cleaned it up a little seeing as how roundup was only 5 weeks away at the time i just kept it simple.
repaired and painted the wheel too while it was out this is gonna be the body kolor when its all said and done ..
well after basicly sleeping at my shop for 5 weeks and pulling my hair out with all the mishaps thanks to a few good friends i was able to make it to roundup its not done by a longshot but im at least able to drive it around now and scare a few old people..
made it back from austin in one piece now its time to drink a beer and relax before i blow it back apart and start on it again in time for the invasion..ill keep postin progress pics when it happens ..
thanks buddy,i really appreciate i posted another thread tonight on my 60 fairelane you might like the roof on that too..
That is rockin' man! Was it on Dallas Craigslist a few months ago? Once my Dad and my brother get the 54 post-car rolling under it's own power, it'll be time for paint and re-do the seats, then onto the 57 Ford.
well one of the best looking chopped 52-54 merc sedans I have seen. What did you do for front and rear glass?
Yes it was the one posted on craigslist, and I'm running the stock back glass and I just cut and shaped some acrilic for the front glass for now. I haven't had much luck finding someone local that would cut a front glass that didn't want my first born as payment
