Yes, a picture would be cool.
Never seen a set for 4-lug Corvair.

    Too bad they are corroded.

Electro-shock therapy from The Illustrated Family Doctor, London, 1935. Ugh! At least it's not a lobotomy! (Which reminds me:rolleyes:: I'd rather have a bottle-in-front-o-me than a frontal lobotomy! :D)

There are 489 posts on the HAMB, either about Norm Grabowski or at least
mentioning his many contributions to traditional hotrodding and customs.
One of the true giants and pioneers of the hobby/sport, he's done more TV
and movies than Tommy Ivo! Whether you know him as Normie-Poo, Woo-
woo or another nickname, please know that this ol' roddin' rooster is battling
cancer at present, and keep him in your prayers. ;) The following HAMB thread
may serve to fill interested parties in on Norm's current status: Norm Grabow-

AMC produced the Marlin in 1965 to "cheat the wind" and the 1966 Dodge Charger was copied from this design
but neither were very successful on the tracks.

A Marlin was raced in the 1966 "24 Hours of Daytona" by the Hess brothers. One of them was Larry Hess.

  27. thinking of how old this shot may be it must've been scary to see these harsh looking folks ridin' around with a black skull upon the radiator. Swi or anybody else, some information on this? only i'm able to read is Helena, MT..

BTW, beautiful Myrna Loy was born in Helena, and sometimes she looked as hiding a dark secret, too. . .

The Sept. '65 issue of Car & Driver had a feature issue on the Fitch Sprint, as well as an accessory catalog section dedicated to Corvair and Mustang bits. A number of wheels in there that I didn't know were available for Corvairs, to include Cragar SS's.

  29. For SWI66 and those interested seeing in the Corvair Halibrands I have had for 40+ years...

13" X 6" Halibrand Mags with knock off cap for 4 lug Corvairs.

    Without cap.

Back. Notice how the balancing weights are held on with allen head bolts.[IMG]

    6" wide

I thought these three shots of Knapp Service Station were very interesting. Each one a little different. The Shell sign on the roof changed three times. The Good Year sign on the portico changed also. It looks like they moved the neon TIRES sign from the corner of the portico to the front of the building during the last remodel, also adding pumps out front. I think I put them in the right chronological order. What do you think the time span was. The cars didn't seem to change much.
