Isn't it funny how the grandkids can get away with stuff the kids couldn't, at least it's that way at my place. I guess I've mellowed as I've aged and "things" just don't seem to be as important as the people involved.

The kid could have "fallen" and then only the parents are to blame for letting the little rug rat run wild.
    :D ;)

  14. This is why I don't build "nice" cars anymore. Still, kids & cars are a great combo.

You don't realize the impact you can have on them for the rest of their lives just by doing the simple things. Getting a hamburger and going for a short cruise, or letting the Nieghbor's kid "help" on a Saturday for a couple hours can make a huge impact on them for the rest of their lives.

Some of you young guys haven't figured that out yet but I hope you do...

Ha! That's just what I was thinking. I can imagine the day when I have grand kids and they will own me. But my KIDS?!?!? There would be hell to pay if they pulled a stunt like that!:D

  22. I'm glad I just have dogs. Although, I did have a dog one time that ate an entire leather couch in one night.

  23. Ouch!!! Our first grand helped me work on grandma's motorcycle with a screwdriver. It wasn't pretty. Surprised I haven't discovered qualudes now that we have 7 little ones

Time for a grandchildren joke...Why do grandkids and grandparents get along so well? Because they have a common enemy.

I have video of my son climing in the window of my Plymouth, and I allow that to happen at this point because lets face it its not gonna hurt it, but when he gets near someone elses car he looks scared to death! When he gets near my dads C5 Z06 he gets his ass chewed for even touching it so he's starting to learn what gloss paint means! It still pisses me off when he climbs in my windows some times but when he sees a picture of the car, walks out in the garage, or tugs on my shirt and says Hot Rod its all forgiven!

If there's ANYONE that can manipulate me big time, it's my grand-kids!
Isn't that a part of their job, aside from redefining the boundries of your patience? Lol
