Vegas wins that battle! There are more fake bewbies here than you can shake a stick at( not quite sure why you would want to shake a stick at em).
Vegas has its pros and cons just like anywhere. Some one has already mentioned that it depends on what you do for a living.I've lived here for ten years now, and I think it's a great place to live.Yeah, it's hot, but not as hot as AZ.Yes, it has a tendency to snow here, about 5 or 10 minutes each year. There is no comparison to Vegas when it comes to things to do in general. This city has always lacked a bit of culture, but they have made huge strides lately to bring it in, and introduce it to people. The hotrod scene is still in development, but the automotive scene is huge here.I used to watch Kurt Busch run on the 3/8 mile paved oval at lvms, and there are plenty more young guns, being watched by big name race teams.Racing is huge here, circle track, and drags. If you are in any kind of construction field, you will have work here. They are building houses like crazy, and the high rises are sprouting up everywhere. The gaming industry is always booming, never a shortage of jobs. This town is what you make of it.I don't usually gamble much.If I do, it's at the gas stations.I try to stay away from the casinos, I'm a terrible card player. But, I love to see tourists dropping their hard earned money to pay my taxes! I used to bitch about the road construction that seems to never end in certain areas. But, then i go to California, and Arizona a couple times a month, and I see how horrible the roads are there.By far, California has the roughest roads I've ever driven on. Nevada does a pretty decent job of keeping the roads smooth.Oh yeah, the gambling pays for that too! Vegas has no " Last Call".Which is cool until you visit somewhere else, and they kick you out at 1am.And you can take your drinks from casino to casino. There are nudie bars everywhere, and prostitution is legal about forty miles out of Vegas. Vegas still has an "old school" feel to it.You scratch my back and I'll scratch yours, kind of mentality.Depending on what you do, there is always someone that can use your expertise or service, and in return, you get something that you need.I have "hook-ups all over town, and I hardly ever pay for anything. It certainly is all about "who you know" here. I like it here, and if you are in town, I would be more than happy to show you around.
