Thanks again to everybody involved we had a great time. To those that have never been its not really about the cars it about the People, The food, the bands and the party. Here are some pics we took.
Cool pics! Good seeing you there Mike even if it was for a short time. I'd hoped to spend more time in Wayland this year. Just didn't work out that way. I'm happy I made it though. This really is a fun show.
Many thanks to Breeder and all the Kropdusters for a great time!!!!!!!!!!!!! This has to be the most laid back show in small town USA!!!! Good times as always!!!!
Great Pics! Thanks to all that worked so hard to put on the show. The band were amazing. Good people, good food, GREAT weekend!
Thanks to all involved with the show, Breeder didnt see you this year but i had one hell of a good time. Was there any magazine coverage this year i saw alot of fancy cameras down there.
What a weekend! Thanks again to Breeder and the boys for puttin' on another kick a** event. I was parked next to the 56 Nomad on Saturday. What a story. The guy has owned the car since 69, raced it locally in the early 70's and was the one that originally painted it. He said he recently decided to get it goin' again so he threw a motor in it that his son had layin' around from an old super-stocker (Dynoed at 650 horse! ). Said that the car has been inside his garage and stored for 38 years. He drove it around the grounds three or four times Saturday for as he called it; his "parade laps". These are the kinda stories you love to hear about. I don't think he had a clue what kind of reception he was gonna get at this show with this car. I'd bet he's still sportin' wood. Anyway, again, hats off to Breeder and the Boys from the KropDusters for a great weekender! The wife and I got over-served, yet again . THANKS
Ha, I don't know if I should admit this or not, but that's me riding the bike next to the guy driving the shopping cart. Good time. Didn't get the chance to meet anybody, left a little after noon on Sat because I had gf stuff to do.
Anyone have any pictures of that '40 Ford coupe with the chrome steelies alone? I'd love to see them.
And finally, as many of you know we lost a club brother last year (Charlie Trokey). We gave out this Charlie Trokey Memorial Award to Nick and his wife, it also happened to be their 11th anniversary too. Anyway they had a '53 Chevy that everybody agreed Charlie would have loved.
