Thanks Eric, trying to get this bed together! It's a lot of work.

Well I have been doing a lot of work on getting this bed together. It is really easy, but I am just trying to find out a better way for me to access things since the tank slides in and out of the frame rails. Tomorrow I will throw the bed sides up and hopefully get everything staged for welding the bed sides on
    the rear sill.

Well I got a lot done today on the truck. The bed is now on and bolted down and I started adding my accessories and knocking out dents too. I think it looks pretty nice and I am happy with it. More to do on it this week and I may have to go purchase some more hardware for it, since I am using more than I expected. Here are the pictures:

Well the fiance came out and gave me a hand with the fenders and fender felt. I got the drivers side rear fender bolted up, but will just have to tighten it. I decided that I was finished with tripping over the tailgate, so I put it on and naturally had to put a ton of crap on with it because it looks nice. More to come soon:D

Well Shannon came out to the garage and helped me with the fender felt on the passenger side fender and for fun I decided to put on the tail lights so when I go to leave for work in the morning I get some more inspiration; she even gave it a thumbs up. I need to bolt on the steps tomorrow, they are just hanging there.

It looks great put together! Almost ready for a test run cruise?

  16. I tend to do all my work on the truck over the winter months here in CT. So I'm just driving/enjoying/raisin' hell with it these days. I do have to pick up a spring/weight kit to change the WOT shift point in my TH350 which I'll be doing here in the next couple weeks.

it looks like you're hauling ass on it now. Isn't it amazing how fast projects progress when they aren't yours?
Thanks for keeping us up to date.

Getting there, I am going to try and get the bed together this weekend the rest of the way and then I am going to have to replace the rear brake cylinders because they decided to leak. Once that is done I am going to hook up the brake lights and hopefully be done with it. Come over this weekend if you aren't doing anything (probably the shed is calling your name still!)

Well I bolted up the steps part way, but still need to pick up some more hardware from the store before finishing it up. It took long enough, about an hour and a half because everything was not fitting how it should have. Oh well, tomorrows another day. I am looking forward to the long weekend, going to get a lot done :D. Here are some pictures:

Thanks Black_Sheep for following and thanks for the compliment. Kind of able to see the light at the end of the tunnel, still a lot to do though

So are you going to have it put together for the RR Rumble? You've got almost a month. We could take both trucks!

Every Friday night at Kroger in Mooresville there is a pretty big gathering. There are several shows coming up this weekend, one in Monrovia and another in Plainfield. Every Saturday at the suds in Greenwood there is a show too.
