Well the August 2012 issue is out and R&C did a pretty cool spread on my Riv. This is the first ink on it and I'm a big fan of Rod and Custom so I'm pretty stoked!! John Jackson did an awesome job shooting her, so a big thanx to John. I also wanna thank Bill and Autumn at Brothers Custom Automotive for all their work and support!!

Anyway, check it out if you get a chance...:D

I read that yesterday right after bringing the magazine in out of the mailbox when I got home from work. That's one great looking car that you pretty well nailed it on.

In answer to Mr Model T the 65 Riv is the same body as a 63 or 64 and most guys have to stop and remember what the differences in those three years are and that is why it gets in along with being a great looking custom with an early 60's vibe to it.

Rather than add another post on the thread the subject of what fits and what doesn't I went searching to see what a 65 Barracuda looked like. I found this tidbit that pretty well says that the Mopar brigade considers the Barracudas starting with the first one in 64 to be part of the "pony car" set of cars and that alone removes it from HAMB consideration. http://moparmotorhead.blogspot.com/2011/12/1964-plymouth-barracuda.html The writer was very happy to point out that the Barracuda beat the Mustang to the dealers by a few months.

    Whatever....
I get the three "rod" mags and have been considering dropping two of them....
This clinches it for dropping Rod and Custom....

lmao... Thanx for taking the time to post, glad to be of help:D.. Please be sure to go out of your way and post what "rod" magazine made the cut, I'm dying to know what's cool..

If you wanna know why people gave someone a hard time about some barracuda, ask them.. Oh I see you did, I guess that didn't give you what you're looking for.. You got a problem with the HAMB ask Ryan or Admin, you're not going to get the answer you want in THIS post.. Or since your obviously new here try a search, this has been talked about several times and you apparently have some free time ..

If you want MY opinion, I have nothing against a '65 'cuda but I wouldn't go here to read about them... I always thought of it as a muscle car, period. The HAMB is definitely not a muscle car forum... That really hard to understand or do you spend your time trying to fit square pegs in round holes?

Very nice car, and very tastefully done. I really liked the shaved door handles  . (I know, I know, it's picky, but you'd think the editing would catch that 'cause it's so damn obvious). Congrats. vic
