Just a quick intro to say hi. I recently purchased a 1939 Ford Cab Over Engine firetruck. I am excited to be a part of this community and look forward to the knowledge exchange(admittedly, its mostly gonna be one sided as this is my first Big Ole Ford truck). Anyways, just thought I would stop by and introduce myself.-Javier

Welcome from Tulsa, OK. Looks like a neat project. What are your plans for it? Are you going to restore it as a firetruck or build something different?

Hey guys, Sorry I am just now getting back. busy week. This is exactly why I love the car culture surrounding classic rods. Call it comHOTRODery if you will. I am just really glad to be here! I am gonna restore it and modify its use. I will keep the origin of the truck and highlight its rich history. She is actually going to be the face of my new buisness. So ...classify her as a business driven "Resto Mod"? More on that later as I start to breathe life back into her. Cannot wait.
