    Alright HAMB'rs,

I have had my 52 Chevy for 3 years now & I have not posted many pics so I figured since she was pretty much finished for a good year I would share a couple. I bought this car from Burl of Los CoChinos CC in Houston & had Ivan & Adrian of Los CoChinos start the work on the tail lights & a little bit of rust work. Too many folks to thank for helping me with the entire drive train overhaul but Richard D, Kona cruiser & TCNOTCH here on the HAMB are the biggest contributors. Last june I took my car to Sean Ornduff of Ornduff Hot Rods for what I thought was going to be just one or two mods......... A year later & this is what he & his amazing group of employees came up with..... Give me your thoughts, I personally love it. I am adding 53 sombreros ASAP by the way.

    Cheers,
    Sam

WOW. Nailed it! That chop is PERFECT. Stance rules, color choice is great. That is how a '49-'52 should look.

  11. I'm not mad on the two- tone, and the hues are kinda bright. . But hell, that's a fine looking car. Sombreros will kick it up a notch, for sure. Your'e a lucky bloke, ya gotta be stoked.
Can anyone else see how killer it would look with sombreros, and in a period organic hue?

I've worked for a paint company for 10yrs & have come away with one very important saying.......... Color isn't forever! I dig the colors for now but you never know what might happen down the road.

Thanks for all the kind words fellas, the whole time we were talking about the chop I knew I wanted to keep all of the stainless around all of the windows. Sean had to add 5" or 6" of stainless from another piece for the rear quarter windows, he is bad to the bone because you cannot see a seam in the stainless.

It was a good looking car to begin with and now it's a great looking car. I've got a 51 that I'll be starting on soon and I'd love to chop it but, I've got a lot of work to do before I can even think about a chopped top. I hope mine turns out half as nice.

It looks great, the tail lights and side trim are a natural together. Are the parking lights/turn signals in the grille? The roofline is very nice as well, looks like the catwalk stayed the same length which is unusual but I like it that way. What's it got for a motor? Interior?

Does the car have an interior and dashboard? If so, I want photographic proof...
