Sometimes the ones I knew in Texas in the early 70's only got beans and no pork.

Mine's simple, I've had the 48 Chev pickup in my avatar since 1973. It's also my Yahoo email id that I had long before I came on the HAMB.

Not offensive and easy to type.

  6. ** High Class Rat **
I picked mine because a lot of non-car people would refer to my car as a rat rod. I tried to explain to one person that in the world of rat rods, mine would be considered a High Class Rat. AND, I know how some on this site go rabid when they hear the mention of RAT.........

I use the same handle on all sorts of web forums. They say every family has a black sheep but looking around at family reunions I couldn't pick out who it could possibly be. After awhile I realized it was me...

That's funny, dude. This is the shirt I've been wearing all day...

I came to that same conclusion a while back, ran across this shirt, and now I wear it to all my family functions. :D

Yeah, I had it wrong...it is just called Skidoo. Used to be only available on bootleg but I think they finally put it out commercially...

I'm a Gemini and I've never been picked last for dodgeball, so I wouldn't know. I like the color green, the smell of the air after it rains, and women with huge knockers... er, I MEAN intelligent women. I'm a dog person, could live without cats, though if cooked just right they taste like Chinese food. Dunno why that is. Neeeeeeext...

  21. I was given that name before the internet as I restored and reproduced parts for the BMW Isetta microcar from the 50's for the last 20 some odd years. Now I'm just stuck with it so I use it. Its better than some other names I've been called...

Funny, most folks on here seem to be enjoying it. Get to know your fellow H.A.M.B.ers.

    I'd rather be a H.A.M.B.er than a nail...

Always used DaddyO as a name when playing video games with my kids, and I had just bought my 32-5w project when I joined. Now I wished I would have choosen something a lot shorter.

You know that old Chuck Berry song "Maybelene" - it has a part that goes "why can't you be true/ You done started back doing the things you used to do". That described my 55 years ago. Fix it - break - fix it - break - fix it break. I started calling her that and even now 30 years later, I've still got the car, men who were kids then still ask about "Maybelene" and she still goes back to doing those things she used to do.

I took the nick 'wrench' in 1990 when Bulletin Boards were the method of computer networking. I added 409 later but have been a 409 Chevy guy since the 60's. (OMG that just dated me).
