The clip is for a window crank or a inside vent window knob.

I say toss them both out and within a month you will remember what they were for and will be unable to find replacements.

    hahahaha true!

  8. How about a headbolt designed to accept a ground strap for the engine (or maybe a bolt on bracket)?

Looks like a 302cu Ford headbolt that holds a standoff bracket for fuel lines. The clip can retain an interior door handle or window crank.

I thought it was a Ford SB main bolt with a stud to hold the oil pick-up for use with a rear sump pan

I found out,,,,it's a oil pump pick up main cap stud for a BBF and I believe the clip holds the dipstick tube.

  16. Ya know I just had a clip like that in my hand a few days ago, it was for a Buick lesaber rear air ride and it held the airline onto the shock.

How about something to reference size, quarter in the pic maybe ?

  19. Looks like a SBC water pump bolt with stud for alternator bracket.

The hairclip could be for just about anything.

The bolt looks like a water pump bolt that the curved generator bracket attaches to on a 283 chevy. The clip looks like a window crank clip.
