a very sad day , a man who is truly an automotive icon , from chicken farmer to driver to designer he did alot in his life , glad to have met him on a few ocasions and have a couple signatures ! he had a heart of gold also and did alot for childrens charities !
What aguy. I worked with him on a couple of projects at Chrysler. He was a great character. He didn't agree with Lee Iacocca much which made it all difficult, but interesting. Carroll, you will be missed. Really missed. R.I.P.
We are seeing more and more of the legends pasting, but we'll never for get them and what they have achieved. RIP
This is one of those days you hoped ,would never happen, a guy that all gearheads, dreamers and go fast junkies, looked up to and respected. The hot rodders in this world, have lost a great friend, and represenative of what, we are all about.
RIP, Mr. Shelby.....He certainly lived by the old adage - "Tell it like it is!!" A true American auto/hot rod icon.
An Iconic Racer, Designer and Human being. There was only one. His legacy will live on... R.I.P. Carroll Shelby
