    Damn.
Sorry to read of your loss, Jive Bomber.
I am sure your Dad was so very proud of the auto journalist that you had become under his guidance and influence.

We never seem to be able to find any words to make it any better, but only know that we feel very badly for the loss of your Dad. He sounds like a really great man, and I'm sure he will be missed by many.

    Hang in there. RIP.:(

My condolences, Jay...losing my dad was by far the hardest part of this whirlwind called life so far. Remember the good times and the bad, learn from them, and pass them on. Your father will always be proud. God bless

Our prayers are with your family. It's a tough one, lost my dad 15 years ago and still think of him almost every day.

Jay, I'm sorry you lost your dad, it was just June 2011 when I lost my dad and it will be a wound that will stay fresh for a while. It hurts because you miss him, but he's waiting for you with whatever heaven holds. (A killer shop with unlimited parts and projects would be nice.) Remember him fondly, it keeps the love fresh too.

God bless you and your family in this trying time...just take a small amount of solace in the fact that you will think about him and the times you shared together on a daily basis for the rest of your life...he will never leave your side.

My sympathies to you and your family. I lost my dad over 20 years ago from the same disease and a day doesn't go by without thinking of him. Some times life really stinks. This too shall pass.
