I picked up this truck to beat around and actually use as a truck, but I still want it to look like a mild hot rod truck. I don't plan on painting the truck anytime soon but I was thinking of painting the wheels when I mount my new tires on them.

My question to you all is what color should I go with? I was thinking a maroon or navy blue but not sure how it would look with the tan. Please toss out some more ideas and your opinions, it would be greatly appreciated!

and here are the caps I'm running on the wheels (after I clean them up)

until you get around to painting it, i'd just stick to black.

Wow didn't even think of that it would help to balance out the plain color!

Don't worry dropping it is high up on my list, just doing research now on what parts I want and everything.

it would have to be the perfect shade, not just bright red.

  7. Drop it just a little, light yellow wheels with caps and 2" whitewalls. Drive the wheels off it !!!

  8. I'd go with the orange. Stay away from red.

A dark maroon for the wheels might work.
