Only 10 days (if your only going Saturday like me)!!!

And I know it changes alot in ten days, but lets hope it doesnt, weather channel says May 5th in Maquoketa is going to be sunny, high 72, 0% chance percip.

I dont trust long term weather....
or short term.
Lets not forget last year we had 70% chance of rain and storms.
We had ZERO precipitation.
Show up no matter what and everyone will have a good time!

I agree too...what other job than a weather man can you be wrong every single day, and keep your job!?

 

take a passenger - just dont get out there with the Punk Rods!!! they may wind up doing something dastardly to that sidecar!

 

I should have our trophy done this weekend. REALLY excited for this year!

Some of the flat trak boys from last year will be there, but not on race bikes. It took some convincing.

I hope the bus racing is as epic as last year! Dude in the chopped bus was a RIOT last year!

 

2 motorcycle trophies will be given out on friday

All day long I saw cars coming thru Dubuque. Had a car club meeting tonight and all the buzz was who's going to VTF. Plan is for Dad and I to bring his '34 Ford. See you guys tomorrow.

Wow!! That's all I could say yesterday. Coolstuff this show is insane. This is my first, but I will be back every year.

 

Had a GREAT time! My first time to any show like this, now I want to make everyone I can.

Torque Fest 2012 was AWESOME!!!!!!
This year I was able to drive my recently finished hot rod to Torque Fest! Our caravan of hot rods arrived around 9:30am on Saturday and WOW! Cars and people everywhere! It was awesome! The cars, the bands, the pin-up girls, the bike racing, the swap meet, the vendors selling vintage wear and memorabilia, hot rods making hot laps on the dirt track....what a day. This year was simply outstanding. Thanks John, all the volunteers, and the Coronados Car Club of Maquoketa, IA.

If you have not attended Torque Fest I HIGHLY recommend you put it on your calander for 2013. You won't be disappointed. This show truley captures the essence of a vintage/traditional hot rod gathering.

John, The show Rocked ! But the other 2 Torquefest were a hoot also, as I expected. I had an ADD overload, there are 4 different things going on all at the same time, I liked that !

 

anyone have one of them fancy posters i could get my hands on?

 

Possibly THE BEST SHOW I have ever been to! We had such a great time, I am so sad it ended so quickly. Is it 2013 yet so we can do it again
