bitchin ... i like a scratch build, no matter what the haters have to say. remember, the ones who scream the loudest more than likely couldnt pull this off in the first place

like the workmanship, nice to see a different build.what color are you painting it?

  20. Really kewl! Could you give us a few dimensions, mainly for the body but also what is the wheelbase. I'm in the process of gathering some parts to build a t bucket but you seem to fit inside the c cab pretty good for a bigger guy!

Thanks.. I want to say the wheel base was around 116'' No front end on the car right now so I can't check..The highest part of the body from the ground is 63'' tall, The widest part of the body is 48.5'', And the body from the firewall to the back is 92'' long..

Hope this give's you a idea..

The color so far will be a wild big flake green.. With some Extra's on it...:D

I fit good so far.. I should have made the back of the seat a little more back to be JUST right..:)

This is how I took it to get the weight on it...2240 As you see it here..With the Big Bolck Chevy..

  24. Wow, the wheelbase is quite a bit longer than I thought it looked. I'm gonna be mocking up some frame rails with some wood 2X4's and have a huge pile of cardboard from appliance boxes that I'm gonna have to mock up and see if I can come up with something as pleasing to the eye as what you've made.

I've personally never been a fan of green cars in general, but I was thinking through this whole thread "man, I sure hope he flakes the hell outta this thing. Always loved the old show rods.

Yes I will have to go with some BIG flakes on this one..
    Something like this color..:)

Getting the color just right on this build will be the hardest part for me to pick out..I want to paint this thing Once... And hope I pick a color that no one would ever want to change if I was to sell it later...

I stop on these pictures,, I was doing the body work on it and had to stop to build my son a truck..Here's his truck we are doing together... I just put the C-Cab back on the frame a few week's ago to make more room in my shop..Didn't get to finish up on the body work.. But should be able to get back on it as soon as I finish my son's truck and Mine..Here's the two truck's..

Hope everyone enjoyed this so far... Will post more when I start back on it..Thanks again..Randy

glad to see your build on here.

You know what would look cool for your back windows on the C-cab some bubble diamonds. They use to make them for camper shells for trucks and a lot of diffrent ones for custom vans. they would fit the theme of your build.
