Event Coverage Spring Canfield 2012 whose going?

Spring Canfield (OH) 2012 swap meet is this weekend

I'll be there Saturday morning in the Hay Grain Building selling car / drag videos and movie posters as usual....whose else is vending or attending?

I heard swap meet spaces are sold out and I believe Quaker City Drag Raceway is open Saturday night...so maybe hangin at the track after the swap

 

Just Called Dave & Eds, There Are Plenty Spaces Availible On The Track , And In The Infield

 

That's good to hear. It seems to be growing every year, but glad there is still room available. The track gets alot of buyer traffic, it just can be messy if it rains....and dusty when it doesn't.

 

I'll be out either Sat or Sun. I'd rather Sat, but I need to find somebody to swap shifts with. Keith

Well talked to 2 vendors who set up today (thursday) and they said barring alot of rain, it should be a knock out....the grounds are all mowed and realtively dry even though several quik showers passed therough last night. I'm ready for Saturday Morning set up...(have to work through Friday)

 

Be there Saturday early. A friend is driving up a nice #2 driver Crown Imp. to put in the coral.

 

If you have never been to Canfield, the car corral and swap meet are well worth a few hundred mile one way trip. You have your "Barrett Jackson wannabees", but you can find variety and some buys in the spring and fall corral. Most people I find who go for the first time return at least for spring and fall events.

 

There are alot of venders allready set-up , it looks like it will be big.
