I am installing a new wiring harness and the directions say to just connect the fan relay wire directly to the fans themselves. I did this but am getting no power to the fans. Fans are good And grounded properly. Obviously I would need something to trigger the relay to turn on the fans. But, where do I hook temp. Into? There are no other wires in the harness that pertain to fans or cooling for that matter. Thanks for any help or input.

How many wires are on your relay?

here is a diagram, hope it might help you. If you have a temp switch, it needs power in one side and the other side hooked to the trigger on the relay. Also if you have a/c you need a switch to turn the fan on whenever the a/c is on or the system will overload and blow a hole.

On the relay? None. Just plugs into the harness with one wire out of the harness for the fan.
