Found a Pic of it in primer. At the Tacoma Washington show. Russ Losing design, Fiberglass bodied car built on a 40 Chevy frame with a 56 Buick engine About 61 or 62. How can you forget those rear quarters.

The Pic was in the Custom Car Yearbook No 1 1963 by the editors of Hot Rod Rod and Custom and Car Craft Magazines. There might be more pics in those magazines of that era. The pic shows no front bumper and no top. Good Luck.
Russ Losing Fiberglass bodies car is built on a 1940 Chevy frame, and runs a 1956 Buick engine. Car looks to have a different grille and headlights in that 1963 book.
Rik is the man!! Tony was showing me pictures of that last week asking me if I have ever seen that car going through the Barris images.. I thought for sure it would of been a Bailon car with all the roundbar work on the grille.. guess I was wrong... Either way I love that it!! Its pretty bad ass!!..

I have about 20 pics of a similar style custom. All I remember is someone mailed them to me as they could load them. Edit. I just loaded them in my profile album (old custom).
I don't think "destroy" is the right word. The body is built from scratch, lots of plywood under the fiberglass. The nailhead runs like a watch. I don't know if it's one of those"in the eye of the beholder" things, or if you have to look at it from a 1962 point of view.
