    This thing turned out great.

  7. This car really looks great fenderless. I say keep them off.

It's the black frame that makes it look "real" to me.

  8. The bottle is very thick. That is what gave me the idea. Plus the shape made it easy to clamp.

Have you got that steering wheel painted yet Mark? Engine detailing looks great.

  10. Hope to have it done today then get it striped. Had a hell of a time getting the color right.. I will post when done.

  11. Color me dumb, OK?

    What color is that?

I know it has nothing to do with the thread I just wanted to ask.

  12. Close to early Ford and K nash but more red in it. It was mixed and do not have formula. Anyway I think we got it right this time:rolleyes:

  13. tried to get a "panel to panel" match on a tan/gold color. drove the paint guy nuts but he stayed with it [used a gallon trying] but the color looks good.
BONUS no drips, no runs and i got it completely covered with paint!:D

  14. Did you get any on Tater:eek:

High boy in the summer and fall, when it gets cold and rainy, fenders on, keep driving without the mess. Best of both worlds. And if it just so happens that you forget to put the fenders on or take them off for a year or two, oh well. Just keep everything labeled, drive it and have fun.

I had a 33 Nash three window for a long time, I took the fenders and running boards off it and ran it as a hiboy sometimes, other years I would put the fenders back on, I had a different set of wheels and tires for it when I ran wo fenders. Who's to say its a permanent change? Set it up so you can go back and forth when u feel like it!

  18. I did set it up to run it with or without fenders. Even the headlight brackets I made bolt to the fender brace holes. But now that it is done I love the no fenders or hood look. It will be this way for a long time. Thanks to everyone for the feedback! It really keeps you going (that and a 6 pack every now and then) Special Thanks to Ted for letting me pester him every day and go through his endless supply of junk. Oh and for some nice paint work:cool:
