pan fill for c4 dip stick length?

    Can anyone help me out and get the the correct length of a pan fill c4 dip stick from the cap to the fill line if there all the same? I have know clue what it came out of
    I know that one that I have is not right and over fills it
    Thanks for any help

    I'll measure my dipstick later on and post the results :D

    OK guys, c'mon now I mean the dipstick in my C4 :) Get your minds out of the gutter. :)

    Fluid level should be even with the pan gasket. You can remove pan, and mark the dipstick, or measure it.

    My C4 has the dipstick tube going into the trans case, are they different from the pan versions ?

    I'll measure my early bronco for ya...its 26-1/4" from the end to where the cap bottoms out over the fill tube or 26" to bottom of cap..
