i raised the front of the frame up 1.5" to gain clearance between my oil pan and my MII crossmember and clearance from ground as i went so low.

More progress on the floor sheetmetal. Got my driveshaft tunnel rolled by a guy for $20, I wanted a 7" radius and he was able to do a 8" one that wasn't very good. After a bit of working, i got it to a radius i was happy with and it turned out great in the end.

    Fitted the new inner fenders.

Fabricated new mounts for the aluminum tank I built in the summer for the car.

All bolted up, ready for trunk floor.

Decided to go with a one piece floor to save on the welding. This is my first time using a bead roller and i am happy with the end result. Thanks Schaefer for helping me out!

    Folded some edges onto it.

    Fits perfect!

Zed section fitted, ready for trunk floor install.

Floor installed, very happy with how it turned out!

Make up pieces for back of my wheel tubs.

Got the driver side tub finished yesterday.

Decided to throw the front fenders and radiator support on. I had to cut a lot of the inner fenders out for my upper control arms and my tires hit when the car is fully aired out. Will need to fabricate new ones.

I have decided the roof needed to be chopped, with schaefer on here, we have been planning and researching for a few weeks now. Yesterday we started prepping for cutting the roof and everything was going so smoothly we went ahead and cut the roof off.

    Cutting around back window

Marking out A pillars. I am cutting 2.75" out of the A pillars and 3" out of the rear of the roof.

    No going back now

Roof sitting back on the car

Had to roll the car outside to have a good look at it from further back. I am really happy with how the roof sits on the car at this point in time. Schaefer and I decided to not go crazy as it is a coupe and wanted to keep the rear side windows a decent size. Cut too much and they get small and funny looking.

Put some tape over the b pillars to get an idea of how they will sit. I am going to pitch them forward a bit, make it flow a bit more.

This is all the progress we got in yesterday. Decided to leave it sitting for a bit and i will have a look this week to make sure im happy with the height and lines of the new roof. Next weekend i will start welding everything up.

Loads of progress today. Big thanks to Schaefer once again for all the help!

Passenger side b-pillar shortened and fitted along with the top of the door.

Rolled the car outside after we cut the back window loose to take a look at where we should put the window.

Started to tack the roof back to the window. Was getting tired at this point so we called it a day. Need to start fabricating the fill pieces for the b-pillars and the bottom corner of the side windows.

I will be putting a filler piece in from the inside of the fender up to the 90 degree lip of the wheel tub. I haven't put them in yet as they were going to be very awkward to do with the car on the chassis and rear end. Once I have finished the chop, the body is getting put on a rotisserie, sandblasting the whole thing then i will finish the underside and wheel tubs where access to them will be much easier.

Schaefer and myself got busy on building the fill pieces for the B-pillars and re-fitting the rear window corners.

New window radius versus the original window corner for the drivers side.

Radius fitted nicely. We then re-fitted the factory body line termination to match the new radius.

All fitted. Happy with how the rear window looks now. One issue with the body lines lining up at the top of the door...

Adjusted the body lines to line up at the top of the door.

Began the drivers side B-pillar. Because we slanted the pillars forward and had to open the corner of the top of the door, the factory body line got all messed up. Used the piece we cut out of the door at the A-pillar to patch a piece in to make it work.

Another shot as we were fitting a filler piece.

About to cut and reduce the radius for the drivers side.

Rough fit of the corner, now onto reinstalling the body line termination.

Driver side window all re-fitted. Very happy with how the second side turned out.

Its always good to get a look from far away to see how the car will sit and flow. We put the hood and trunk back on roughly just to see it as a whole once again. So stoked on how this car is looking now. Im glad I did not go crazy on the chop, I think this is the perfect amount for this business coupe.

Another angle, loving it! Next week I will finish up welding and smoothing the sides out in preparation for starting work on the rear window and sail panels.
