  1. Thanks for the post. I love swap meets but we don't have many of them in this area anymore.

I am happy you saw my thread CB------
you need to come and hang out with me someday...

  9. Wow Looks like it was a good swapmeet I need to get there someday! I have so much stuff that might sell down there! like a 72 Elcamino parts car, 85 jag XJ6, 59 Ford 2 dr, 62 Buick Special. I'd like to move. Did anyone make it to the classic car auction in Omaha this weekend? I wanted to hit that as well, but just to much work at the shop!

  10. Of all the events I miss from living in KC the Ararat Swap Meets are towards the top. Tornadoes, not so much, although we got a few of them around here last night, too.

  11. We have a pretty big swap next weekend. I will try and do a thread.

Great stuff Paul, that Dodge A-100 pickup is cool. Gary

  16. Thanks for the pics and narrative Paul.

Dang.......I failed to realize the swap was this weekend.
We were in KC on Friday, but had some things to do.
I usually find something I want at that swap, even though
the last few haven't been as large as they used to be.

Was it held at the auto auction place again this year??

  17. Thanks again,very enjoyable swapmeet.

I like your pictures, as usual. I'm thankful that you and yours made it through the tornados okay. Our 2 granddaughters, my wife, and I were huddled in the basement for awhile Saturday night. Fortunately the tornado missed us by 5 miles or so. I'm off work for at least a few days until Spirit calls us back.

  21. Great swap meet thread! I enjoyed it also. I found quite a few things there that were on my list (and then some) last Saturday and managed to have enough room to haul the stuff home in one trip!

  29. You captured the highlights quite well. Loved the Hudson truck, but not the price. There also was a '61 Plymouth in the mix. Got any shots of that?
