Just bought a 50 Shoebox and the ride home was rough, car sits too low and the dips on the freeway let me know. Debating front clipping it, or just air bag to raise it to a driveable height.
Anyone using stock suspension with airbags?
Also has anyone used the Jamco power steering conversion kit?

Hoping between the bags and power steering kit, the ride will be much smoother and can drive the car without flinching when a dip is coming up.

Depends on how the car was lowered. You might get by replacing the springs and shocks with less radical ones. More info, please...

Will have the car up on a rack Wednesday to get a better idea of the suspension.

  7. Our roads are brutal up here and i'm going with air shocks in the back to bump it up abit for when i need it. It's a cheap way out. I'm just running 3 in lowering blocks areostar fronts.
    How low are you?

I didn't know you could lower a shoebox too low, I had a 50 and was driving down a rock road to a friends house and hit a rock with the front crossmember and it rolled back and bent the clutch linkage. The mufflers would drag on gravel roads but it looked good.
