Here is my 1964 Buick Lesabre.

Ther 300ci motor was missing. In process of doing a SBB 350/350 install.

Dual Bellflower flame exhaust is next.

That's one badass looking '64 moredoor! I drove a '64 Dynamic 88 for a couple years of high school and a year or two after, wish the damn SlimJim trans would have held up better. I replaced two of them, then gave up and sold it.

    Bombs Away,

Sweet Buick! I'd be interested in hearing about how your 350/350 install turns out. I'm about to do a rebuild on my 300. Glad to see you going with a SBB as opposed to the SBC in everything route!

This guy is on my someday list. Scratches a real bad itch I've had for 25 years prior to buying it just to sit in the dam thing!

Just noticed it said 62-64, my bad.

  5. I love '62-'64 GM cars. They are so nice to drive. Smoooooth!

Here's my '62 Wildkat down at the Rod and Custom Show at the Denver Convention Center last November. Roger Jetter was nice enough to call me and ask if I would put it in the show with a group of sleds. I just couldn't say no, but with so many super fine cars there, I felt a little bit out of my element. Had a great time! E

Here's a couple from Billetproof NW a few years back. I love the full size Ponchos.

  8. My grandpa tells me stories about the '63 Catalina he bought new. 421, 2-door, auto, power brakes, power steering, the works. I was curious if I could find a similar car for a project build up.... Very hard to find car. Great thread.

Damn Bob-o, are those Rogues? They look good on there, takes just the right car to run those and I'd say that one qualifies.

Yep, Rogues! Took me forever to find a set in 5x5", 15x6! And thanks man, I appreciate it and wholeheartedly agree :)

Fuck yeah. looks killer! Make sure to share pics when you've got the bumpers back on!

Thanks Andy. It was real last minute and is just white primer with purple toner added, but it sure beats the old blotchy white that was on there for the last 50 years ;)

And I don't know how we can have a thread like this and not have Donnie Baird's gorgeous '63 88:

Here's the 62 Electra the wife and I picked up last weekend. Real survivor. Odometer shows 46,000 which probably is 146,000. Original paint, interior, 401, No rust, runs and drives perfect. Gonna make it a grandkid hauler.

New stance with street front springs, I got rid of those Moroso trick springs that a previous owner installed. Much better ride and no tire rubbing on lock-to-lock turning.
