I owned the '56 F100 that is my avatar for nearly 20 years. Its been 12 years since I had to sell it and I still miss it. If I can ever find another '56 I'll build it just a little bit nastier.

Bought this Nomad July 1970, blew it apart and scattered it to keep it through a divorce. Managed to loose the house. Jay

I originally bought our chopped 37 in the mid 80's. Built it and drove it untill 2000 then bought it back last year. This car was one of the best loved by our family. Pictures are everywhere in my home as well as my grown kids homes.
When I went to look at it and opened the door, it was like it had never been gone. Even the old CB radio I left in it was still hooked up and working.
Lots of wonderful family memories with this car and now my grandsons are sharing their approval and enjoy cruising with "Pop".

O/T 1968 elcamino I bought from my Father in law in around 75 has gone through 8 builds it now is being returned to the way I got it from him he passed away around 8 yrs ago. Next would be my 56 chevy sedan delivery 20 yrs, and then my 55 Chevy 18 yrs.

  22. bought my 41 ford panel in 1973 while in the Navy from a shipmate. flat towed it to Portland, Or from Antioch, Ca. started working on it after getting out in 75 then pretty much stopped on it in 78, nothing much done to it since then. It kept me kinda sane and out of bars after Nam kept wandering in and out of my dreams. Won't ever sell it or probably finish it but its in a dry protected area as all good friends should be.

Bought this one in '72. Still have it, still runs, kinda. Injector needs a little attention. Had 550,000 miles in 2000, when I got the 150 wagon.

Had my '55 F100 for 38 years and still driving it...:D

It cost my $1095 back in 1974, probably got 20 times that in it now...

  27. Wow......A fuel injected 57 wagon must be pretty rare. I don't blame you for hanging on to it!

  29. The coupe has been in the family since 1960. Sold it to my bro in '68, bought it back in '76, a little worse for wear. Did a re-start, then life got in the way again. But I'm movin forward, albeit at glacial speed. My first car is now my retirement project......
