Jared's (JJK) sister, Kirsten, had her car in the show. It was great to finally see the car that Jared had told me about.



I took some pictures of Jesse James' roadster for those who wanted to know more about the interior and such.. I think in the photo I took outside, it captures the colors pretty close to what they were. I took a detail shot of the windshield at the ASS party. All of those are next along with a few artsy shots.

After the show on Saturday, I headed back to the hotel to relax some before heading to the party at ASS. As expected, it ruled. It was full of great people, killer cars, and good times to be had by all.

I finally got to see Tuck's Ranchero.. I really dig the "whiteness" of it.



Then I went back to waiting for the gates to open..


And looked around.. I have a feeling that a lot of the people that move into these condos are going to get more than what they bargained for.



And I noticed some of Bobby's marks..


And this pulled up..


Then it was a whole bunch of more waiting..

 

And finally. They let us in!







Ouch! Sucks to see someone rolled this over.. Bet that was a fun ride.

I would have to say my favorite hot rod at the show was the Brian Bass built Wade coupe. I kept coming back to it to look at it just one more time, every time.. And every time, I would notice something different. It's just a piece of art. Genius.






I also admired how Elrod rebuilt his Model A coupe in 4 months just to put in a blown flathead V8 in his ride and redo his dashboard. That dash board is gorgeous! The fact that he was able to do all of the work he did to an already-driving hot rod in 4 months and show up at the show on Saturday is awesome.







Congrats on such a fine ride, Elrod.

Oh, and our own Steven (RoadFarmer) won the guitar at the ASS party. His brother, Ray, also won another door prize.. Congrats, guys!

I didn't get any better pictures.. If I had taken the time to check out the details in each ride there that I liked, then I would have missed half the others that I saw at the show. It was crazy huge.

But if I'm not mistaken, this deuce is a regular Revolution participant. And I plan to head South for the Revolution come December. All in all, I can understand why the Revolution would be a much more intimate show as opposed to the LSRU. One of the qualities I admire about the Revolution is that it's a hand-selected car show which keeps the quality of the content high. I'll be spending more time with each car at that show then and as usual, I'll put them all up on here for you guys to see.
