  6. Awesome! How long did it sit? Dump some sea foam in the gas and keep driving it...may smoke less and less!! A's are a blast, and extremely reliable

chris, it had been tinkered with recently, but not very well.

i did dump some seafoam down it before the video, and i notice it smokes a lot less now. but the head still weeps and i already ordered the gasket set from mac's, so i'll give it the benefit of new stuff.

  9. You know Mark, I love anything chopped. But our phonebooth is staying full height with fenders, a loose clone of Jakes pickup circa early 70s. Even have a luggage holder for teh runningboard!

Keep repeating, "do NOT chop it, do NOT chop it, do NOT chop it............................". Jim Jacobs got it right so many years ago.
Every time one of these things shows up I wish someone would give me a swift kick in the behind for ever selling mine. That was over 40 years ago and I still miss it and regret letting it slip through my fingers.

    thanks nick.

i scored some 7.00x16 old white walls for the rear. those will go on as soon as the tubes show up from Coker.

hopefully i'll see a care package from Mac's tomorrow, and give the motor some love.

heading to the spring shop tomorrow too, to drop off springs to get dearched and have the eyes reversed.

becky is working on an interior, and new material for the top and visor. the top will stay flat for now. those wood roof kits are spendy for these trucks.

i took the seat riser out, and am in the process of arranging the bottom a little more to my liking. then we'll make a new seat back that mounts to the back of the cab.
