Strange to not see the vendors buying today, like normal.

So, the end user has a better chance at what is there.

Vendor count seems to be higher than usual for the spring show by Sat 5:30pm when I left. Track was filling in, but the old and new pit areas were light. Vendors will be coming in all night, so it will be full by 8am

and of course the popular bud light drinkers and weed smoking red necks burning pressure treated wood at 7am...

Its always fun to people watch!

Man, I miss going to that swap meet (and Amherst). I loved watching the drunks with their Radio Flyer wagons full of parts walking around halfway up the track.

Wish there was swaps like that here in Austin.

24 hours of choking downwind of the stinky fire ---- WHY do you need a huge blasting fire when it's 75 degrees???? to show off the cool barrel with the truck stacks maybe there are trophies for best burn barrel ???
No pets allowed --- This big douchebag is strutting with his bulldog. The dog shits a huge pile in front of my spot right where everyone is walking . The guy laughs and keeps walking - -I'm yelling for him to get back and clean it up --- oh he must be deaf. I guess that's why they give the vendors the plastic bag, to pick up dog shit.

Despite the assholes, it was good to catch up with loads of friends and the surprise visit from sawzall !!!! Managed lots of laughs in between getting beat up on everything we tried to unload. I should have brought broken weedwackers, windows, TV's bicycles, porn, etc..... on to carlisle, Compounce and Jalopy Showdown

  20. Did anybody else catch Steve Magnante(of speed channel fame ...and others) walking around with his handtruck like the rest of us schleps. Caught him around noon over by the firetruck for sale/kettle corn area around noon.

  21. I went there today, picked up a part for my bobber, a few headlight bezels and a steering wheel to ad to my parts pile to make an english wheel.

Makes me wonder how many of you I passed by.

Aside from Lake Compounce, what other swaps are around?

Fitchburg Airport is next Sunday, Amherst the following Sunday & Compounce the next. Honestly, Stafford is Redneck City, but Compounce is twice as bad.

Good to meet you. Had a pretty good time at Stafford overall. Feel a little dumber today though. Must have been all the fumes.

I am always amazed at how negative so many people are about everything in life, must be a fun bunch to hang out with.
First swap meet of the season, found lots of good stuff, cadillac sombrero for $15, flaming river brand new steering joints for $10, AHC coated T bucket headers with slip on mufflers in excellent shape, many new tires for less than half normal price, a few nice SB intakes for $20-$25, 348 tri power intake for $60, etc..always find lots of good stuff there as well as lake compounce. Two weeks to etown, hope all the "rather stay at home guys" do so I can get more good stuff for cheap.

I made the mistake of bringing people with me who didn't want to hang around. I found another set of taillights for my 48 for $30 and that bike for only $20. I was happy
